Sub-brands
Sub-brands give a distinctive personality to the many different
campaigns and events we create. However, they are not brands in
their own right; they are part of our larger Action for Children
brand.
We represent this relationship by always designing them in the
same way, using our typeface and our drawing style.
The name of the sub-brand should use a combination of our grey
(Cool Grey) and our black (Black Seven) as shown below. If the name
of the sub-brand is only one word long, then you should just use
our black. However, if the word has certain letters to be picked
out, use black for the letters that need to be emphasised and grey
for the rest.
Text must all be in lower case, as it is in our primary logo.
The illustration should use our continuous line style. It must only
use colours from our primary and secondary colour palettes.

Use the mono version for materials that will reproduce at low
quality (eg photocopies).
Welsh version of sub-brand logos
For the Welsh version of sub-brand logos, the logo becomes
bilingual, with the translation sitting above the English type.
